Lab Technician R&D Program

We have a 90 day opening (with strong potential for permanent extension) for an individual who has most of the following skills or work traits:

Reliable- Can your work team count on you to be at work when you’re expected to be?

Able to be trained- Can you be trained to follow specific directions toward completing work tasks. Are you able to weigh, measure and notice details?

Shift- are you free to work Monday - Friday from 7a to 3:30p. 40 hours per week and no nights or weekends

Technicians

Lab Technician positions are available to support research and development for a consumer products company in the Cincinnati area. A comprehensive training program will have you conducting multiple tests while working closely with scientists and engineers learning more daily.

Duties and Responsibilities of a Lab Technician:

• Perform standard testing work on future generations of consumer goods
• Accurately prepare and test samples using approved methods and equipment.
• Confirm and use approved test methods and equipment to assure conformance to each test methodology.
• Perform necessary mathematical calculations where/when required.
• Record tested attributes and variables into proper format (electronic or written) and maintain accurate back up filing system, deliver test results to lab manager in a timely fashion.
• Maintain good laboratory controls and documentation of testing records.
• Maintain a fully stocked lab with needed supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Report any equipment/maintenance or safety issues to proper authority promptly.
• Assist in trouble shooting problems with test equipment, fixtures, electronics and any general lab equipment needed for daily lab production.
• Reports any issues effecting efficiencies or priorities directly to Lab Manager.
• Seamlessly communicate with the Lab Manager to assure all testing will be completed accurately and within the required timing.
• Perform any other general duties that may be assigned..
